Body contouring consists in reshaping the body to restore a harmonious silhouette.
High Intensity Focused Ultrasounds (HIFU) present a non-invasive solution for body contouring, allowing for the selective destruction of subcutaneous fat cells all while toning the skin.

The ULTRAFORMER III for body contouring

ULTRAFORMER III is a non-surgical and non-invasive Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology based on an exclusive MMFU (Micro & Macro Focused Ultrasound) patent.

Body contouring by ULTRAFORMER III uses transducers (the “cartridges”) for a Macro Thermal effect which destroys fat cells at different depths under the skin.

Cartridges targeting multiple depths will be used during your treatment. Your doctor will give you all necessary explanations regarding the protocol based on the clinical examination carried out during the initial consultation at the Centre Laser Sorbonne.

The ULTRAFORMER III uses ultrasound energy on a targeted area in order to cause coagulation points at a temperature of around 70°C. This results in the skin tightening due to the creation of collagen (neocollagenesis).

The ULTRAFORMER III can :

• Firm up the inner side of the arms
• Firm up the skin above the knee
• Redraw the belly

In some cases it presents a surgery-free alternative to a stomach lift. Indeed, it is possible to attain a lift-like toned and densified effect of all slackened skin without resorting to anesthesia or surgery and without any risk.

Potential contraindications for body contouring

• Taking anti-coagulant or anti-aggregation medication
• Unbalanced diabetes
• Open wound or progressing dermatosis on the treated area
• Pregnancy

After the body contouring session

With Ultraformer III, the treatment is comfortable and the protocol usually involves a session or two. The neo-collagenesis process will take approximately 2 months.
You can resume normal activity immediately after your treatment.
It should not be forgotten, however, that sagging skin is part of natural human aging.
While the effects of the protocol generally last more than a year, a follow-up session may be considered to perfect the result obtained during the initial session.
